Educational Student Tours is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt organization designated by the Internal Revenue Service.  The Internal Revenue Service granted us 501(c)(3) status on July 9, 2003.

Mission Statement

The mission of Educational Student Tours is to provide a comprehensive college counseling and tour program that includes the following student support services:

Goal

The goal of our program is to address the achievement gap between participants of low socio-economic backgrounds and their more privileged peers.

Did you know that:

Less than half of the students who enter high schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District graduate? (Office of Institutional Research, LAUSD)

California has the highest ratio of students to school counselors in the nation? (National Center for Educational Statistics, 1998)

The Center for Higher Education Policy cites college counseling and college preparatory course taking as the two highest predictors for enrollment in college (2002)

Your donation is welcome in virtually any form. From donating airline miles to help students defray the cost of the tour to helping to underwrite the cost of the SAT Prep seminars, workshops, bus transportation, etc., we need your support

Donate Airline Miles

Frequent flier air miles can be donated to help students go on the Black College Tours. These miles will aid students in fulfilling their dreams of attending college. Individuals who wish to donate their frequent flyer miles should make their arrangements through EST by calling us at (818) 891-8087.
